Manny Pacquiao vs. Brandon Rios November showdown

Not even a week has gone by since Floyd’s masterful boxing clinic, and many boxing sources are now buzzing with the news that Manny Pacquiao will return back to the ring and face Brandon “Bam Bam” Rios in Macao, China. The date that’s floating around is November 23rd, 2013. As seen in the picture below, Manny’s conditioning coach, Alex Ariza. has stated to a fan in his twitter account, that this fight will be fought in the welterweight division.

According to ESPN, this fight will be a pay per view event. Question: will boxing heads be willing to fork over any ppv fees to watch this fight?

This fight will be an entertaining and exciting fight, however, we at the heavy bag feel that this fight is a total mis-match. With all do respect to Brandon Rios, stylistically, this fight is tailor made for Pacquiao’s style. A continuous come forward pressure fighter, like Brandon Rios, against Pacquiao will be, in my opinion, a repeat of Margarito vs. Pacquiao.

This is still a developing story, so stay tune for more information, once it’s available.

For now what do you think about this match up?
